 Abstract:
»Amy Hagenrater-Gooding's essay about using modern drama and contemporary TV shows to discuss agency and complicity in sexual relationships also grew out of a teaching dilemma, one that is faced eventually by any teacher who addresses such challenging topics in class: what do we do when students don't react as we expect them to, or as they "should," and how can we learn from past experiences in the classroom to make future approaches more productive?«
